so i want to go to The Art Institute, and there are different career pathway things for
fashion design
and fashion management.
i want to design and make my own story and sell .
but that requires fashion management.
should i complete one and take the other also?
YES, both! Being creative is great fun, but you really have to know the ins & outs of business. A lot of artists, whether they are painting on canvas or designing a gown, can fall by the wayside if they don't at least understand the less fun side of keeping your books in order or having a steady cash flow, etc. Good Luck
i think you should do what you think is fun because my mum said that if she could go back she would go and do something fun while she was at school i think shes right but luckily she got a job that envolved science (the course she took)
so all in all i think you should just do the most fun thing you can then for your job make it involve that
I would definitely do both. Of course, being creative and having an artistic eye is crucial, but having some business skills to market yourself is equally as important. I hope you love what you do and never lose your inspiration! Best wishes :]
